Classes run out of the Corpus Christi Aquatic Centre from 3:30pm, 30minutes per class.
PRE-SQUAD
As a kid's technique gets better they need to develop more strength and fitness, so we can take them to the next level of swimming. This is achieved by swimming more.
However, in most swimming programs kids would normally just go to a squad program which focuses on distance (1.5 to 6km), little stroke correction and no fun! This may be a bit of a shock!
That is where Pre-Squad comes in. It is a 'transition' program we designed where the kids will swim more (500m to 900m) to get fitter, whilst having fun, building confidence and still maintaining good technique.
This is a one hour session.
SQUADS
Squads with a difference!
As with all squads there is a significant training component, and we will help you achieve your goals, be it fitness, doing well at their school swimming carnival, or achieving state/national qualifying times.
However, as head coach, I run these as I would have liked them to have been when I was a kid! Essentially, they are fun but still challenging, so that the kids can reach their goals and still love swimming!
Swimmers can choose between 1 to 5 sessions/week.
